Program Manager-Cognitive Skills Enhancement Program (CSEP) - Johnstown, PA

About the role

The position is housed within the University of Pittsburgh, School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (SHRS), Department of Counseling and Behavioral Health. The department offers personalized, experiential training for future professional counselors and prepares graduates to address complex challenges faced by individuals across cultures, across the lifespan, and living with disabilities and behavioral health conditions. The department emphasizes evidence-based practice, clinical research, community engagement, advocacy, and a strong commitment to diversity, inclusion, and cultural humility.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across all CSEP service tiers; supervise staff including hiring, performance reviews, scheduling, and HR administration.
• Provide evidence-based individual and group counseling, psychotherapy, and cognitive rehabilitation; conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Cookordination with OVR, CTI at HGAC staff, and external partners on referrals, service planning, and case consultation.
• Ensure quality assurance, accurate clinical documentation, and compliance with regulatory and confidentiality standards.
• Lead individual and group clinical supervision for therapy providers, student employees, and interns.
• Maintain program data systems and prepare outcome reports for supervisors and partner agencies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Rehabilitation Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant clinical experience with individuals with cognitive and/or behavioral health disabilities.
• Experience in individual and group counseling, clinical assessment, and multidisciplinary rehabilitation settings.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Physical Effort

In-person, on-campus daily presence required at CTI at HGAC in Johnstown, PA. Primarily sedentary with on-site clinical service delivery.
