We Operate Through Three Business Areas Electronic Solutions develops the avionics, navigation systems, sensors and electromagnetic defense technology on board 90% of the world's aircraft Engines & Power Systems provides the propulsion, auxiliary power and electrical systems that keep those aircraft flying Control Systems supplies the thermal and motion control systems that support takeoff, landing and the safety of everyone on board. As a Program Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in guiding and managing engineering programs. Your ability to define project scope and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams will help align projects with business goals and customer requirements. By developing and implementing project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, you will ensure efficient project execution and delivery. Monitoring project progress and ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets will help maintain project efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Your expertise in identifying and mitigating risks and issues that may impact project delivery will contribute to successful project outcomes. You will report directly to our Customer Business Manager and you'll work out of one of our Clearwater, FL location. In this role, you will impact the successful execution and delivery of production projects, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Job tasks also include extensive communications and direction of supporting functions such as contracts, program planning & control and finance. This position also requires travel to assist in interfacing withkey customers and major suppliers/partners. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Manages matrixed program team(s) to achieve business objectives of the Defense & Space Lockheed Martin (DSLM) CBT Lead and manage programs to ensure successful execution and delivery Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with cross functional teams Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and practices Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE 5+ years of experience in engineering program management or related roles Proven track record of successfully delivering engineering projects on time and within budget Strong project management and organizational skills Excellent communication and people-oriented skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Experience in risk management and problem-solving Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies WE VALUE Strong thoughtful and problem-solving abilities Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively Adaptability and flexibility to manage changing project requirements Passion for innovation and continuous learning Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
