Job Tasks And Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of educational and cultural programs that address community needs, including language classes, theatre, museum and library initiatives, and cooking demonstrations.
- Oversee program operations, ensuring efficient execution, quality, and alignment with grant and funding requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for program participants, handling escalated inquiries and ensuring a high level of participant engagement and customer service.
- Develop and maintain program budgets, track expenses, and ensure compliance with organizational and funding guidelines.
- Coordinate cross-departmental activities, including staffing events, meetings, and off-site functions.
- Evaluate community needs and propose new programs or enhancements to existing programs to increase impact.
- Ensure programs operate in accordance with organizational policies, safety protocols, and accessibility standards.
Key Competencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in Arabic or Chaldean preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and multi-tasking abilities.
- Proven ability to manage projects from conception to completion with high attention to detail.
- Experience maintaining confidential information and handling sensitive matters.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and program management tools.
Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Nonprofit Management, Education, Public Administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in program management, nonprofit, community-based, human services, or related roles.
- Experience supervising staff and/or volunteers.
- Experience with program evaluation, budgeting, grant compliance, and reporting preferred.
