Responsibilities

  • Oversee the quality of guest services provided meet NHF standards by implementing and monitoring day-to-day operational systems and procedures in accordance with the company’s standards of operation;
  • Coverage of operation team, providing coaching and training when needed;
  • Develop, implement, and consistently monitor health and safety measures including but not limited to, hazard communications, evacuation procedures, incident management;
  • Collaborate with LVN Nursing Manager to properly dispose of medical waste;
  • Cook with internal and external partners for special events held at the facility;
  • Conduct weekly site safety inspections and coordinates with the environmental service coordinator to ensure necessary repairs are completed;
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate guest’s quality of care, ensure all staff supervise permissible to accurately utilized bed board application to determine census cap for operational planning (i.e.) room changes, meal planning etc;
  • Collaborate with Director and Leadership of any pertinent information regarding the operations on a regular basis.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred;
  • 2-3 years’ supervisory experience with demonstrated experience of coaching and mentoring staff in related field;
  • Familiarity working with LAHSA regulations;
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations preferred but not required;
  • Current BLS certification strongly preferred, but not required;
  • Prior working experience in residential treatment facility, mental health facility, substance abuse treatment center, or homeless shelter preferred;
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills required;
  • Must have the ability to multi-task, problem solve, meet deadlines, follow through, and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
