About the role
Manages the overall operations, activities, and staff of assigned program site within direct area of responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Supervises and oversees the work of direct reports within direct areas of responsibility.
- Manages the operations, activities, and overall environment of the program site, including all shifts if applicable.
- Participates in the applicant hiring and termination process, interviewing and screening applicants, and providing recommendations.
- Aids in resolving problematic situations, encouraging independence of the person served, and exercising appropriate judgment.
- Completes and submits required paperwork, ensuring compliance with regulations and accreditation standards.
- Maintains and reviews documentation as required by state regulations and program management.
- Develops, coordinates, and monitors IPP, IDT, and TDT processes, ensuring timely implementation of treatment plans.
- Participates in performance improvement systems to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
- Reviews consults from medical and therapeutic consultants, ensures implementation of care plans, and adheres to medical orders.
- Participates in special projects related to behavioral treatment, clinical outcomes, and research activities.
- Develops and implements performance improvement systems for assigned program site.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent with 2-3 years of experience in Human Services or related field.
- Prior management experience and a strong desire to work with neurologically-challenged individuals.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, plus one year of related experience preferred.
