Job Duties
- Manage statewide workforce initiatives and funding programs designed to improve rural healthcare access.
- Directly work with universities, training programs, healthcare providers, and professional associations to expand workforce pipelines.
- Review applications, monitor program performance, and track workforce outcomes.
- Analyze workforce shortages and identify recruitment and retention strategies.
- Cook up stakeholder meetings and provide technical assistance to participating organizations.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for program leadership and executive staff.
Position-Specific Details
- Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Experience in healthcare workforce planning, workforce development, recruitment, retention, or educational program administration.
- Familiarity with undergraduate, graduate, residency, and allied health training programs, including accreditation, enrollment management, clinical placements, and program evaluation.
- Experience conducting workforce needs assessments, gap analyses, and strategic planning.
- Understanding of rural healthcare delivery systems and workforce recruitment and retention challenges.
- Experience working with healthcare providers, universities, professional associations, licensing boards, or workforce agencies.
