Program Management Director

This role will drive complex programs from planning through execution with a focus on structure, accountability, and measurable delivery. You will work across business leaders, delivery teams, and strategic partners to align priorities, manage dependencies, and keep initiatives on track within a Legal & Accounting environment.

Location: Chicago, IL – US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end program management framework for the Data & AI organization
• Establish and standardize Agile program management practices, including Jira workflows
• Develop executive dashboards tracking portfolio health and resource allocation
• Partner with leadership to define and track organizational OKRs and KPIs
• Drive operational governance through regular program reviews and reports
• Identify program risks and implement corrective actions to ensure timelines are met
• Lead and mentor Program Managers, fostering a culture of operational excellence

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of program or project management experience, including 5 years in leadership
• Experience managing large, cross-functional programs involving 100+ personnel or equivalent scope
• Proficient with Jira, Confluence, and related tools, with a focus on workflow and reporting
• Expertise in scaling agile delivery practices within multi-disciplinary tech teams
• Record of implementing OKR/KPI frameworks and enforcing accountability
• Experience mentoring program management professionals

Pay

$231,600 – $330,000 annually
