Program Management Director

For our client, we are seeking a Program Management Director to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This leader will shape enterprise program strategy and execution across a complex, cross-functional environment. The role will translate strategic priorities into integrated roadmaps, guide delivery disciplines, and support transformation efforts that improve outcomes across the organization. It will also require strong governance, executive communication, and stakeholder engagement to keep initiatives aligned and moving forward. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $121,263 – $191,687 annually Responsibilities Provide consultative leadership and direct enterprise program strategy and execution Translate strategic priorities into integrated roadmaps and direct complex enterprise programs Partner across management disciplines to coordinate delivery and process transformation Proactively manage strategic risks, issues, and dependencies Establish governance and communication mechanisms, delivering executive-ready materials Integrate change management and stakeholder engagement into program plans Lead development and continuous improvement of program management methodologies Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience Ten years of experience leading complex, enterprise-level programs or projects Experience in Agile, hybrid, and traditional delivery environments Preferred certifications: PMP, PgPgM, PMI-ACP, or related credentials Expert knowledge of consultative program management and strategic execution Benefits Work from home eligibility anywhere in the US, with a preference for the Des Moines, IA metro area Comprehensive rewards package including health and wellness benefits Opportunities for professional development and training Support for mentoring and coaching within the organization Access to a collaborative work environment fostering innovation Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
