About the role

A Program Supervisor (BCBA) oversees a specialty behavior program for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities. The role involves clinical program management, case supervision, and staff leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management reviews and supervision to individuals with special behavioral needs.
• Participate in the review and matching of individuals receiving services, including initial and ongoing assessments.
• Review placement disruptions and internal movement of individuals.
• Develop and ensure implementation of individual behavior support program plans; monitor adherence to treatment plans and regularly review records while complying with all contractual, local, and corporate mandates.
• Supervise and manage assigned staff, including performance evaluations, scheduling, orientation, training, and ongoing support; resolve employee relations issues and make employment-related decisions.
• Observe behavior support plan implementation, provide staff feedback, review documentation, and analyze information.
• Supervise staff members obtaining their BCBA certification; implement employee practices and ensure safety and workers’ compensation initiatives are followed.
• Oversee clinical and crisis management; investigate internal incidents as required.
• Facilitate communication with family members, case managers, state agencies, and corporate offices while ensuring confidentiality.
• Coordinate and participate in team meetings.
• Write reports and assess/interpret data.
• Coordinate daily operations to ensure consumer safety and programming needs are met.
• Establish and supervise on-call duties.
• Promote and market programs to funding sources, community agencies, families, and related groups.
• Ensure all documentation and records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with legal and corporate requirements.
• Complete purchasing of program supplies and submit billing compliance documentation.

Requirements

• Master’s degree and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
• One to two years of related experience, with an emphasis on working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (IDD).
• Licensure and other requirements as mandated by state.
• Current driver’s license in good standing, car registration, and auto insurance.
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification as required by state.
