Program Lead- State Partnerships
About the role
Khan Academy India is seeking a Program Lead - State Partnerships to join our growing Schools Team. This role will drive our programs with large public school systems, collaborating with the Content team, Partner Operations, Teacher Enablement, and Data and Efficacy teams to ensure high-quality implementation of our program.
Responsibilities
- Work with state leadership to plan and implement the Khan Academy learning platform.
- Collaborate with other Khan Academy India teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of the program and services.
- Proactively identify ways to increase the success of teachers and students with our programs.
- Analyze large quantitative data sets to identify strategic levers for deepening usage across the state.
- Build our learning muscle through analyzing qualitative feedback from the state systems.
- Help build capacity within the school system for a scalable and sustainable implementation.
- Balance both short-term execution and strategic planning towards the success of the program.
Requirements
- 6-9 years of relevant work experience, preferably in education or large-scale government projects.
- A solid background in project management, understanding how to define scope, set clear goals, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality outcomes.
- Experience managing multiple teams and coordinating dependencies without formal authority.
- Proficiency in working with large volumes of data, identifying trends, and drawing evidence-based conclusions.
- Excellent communication skills, able to address different audiences using appropriate language and formats.
- Able to quickly learn and adapt to new problems and adjust partnership plans accordingly.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, including a tolerance for ambiguity, a penchant for experimentation, and a bias toward action.
- Willingness to roll up their sleeves and contribute to the team's efforts as we grow.
- A passion for education and a strong desire to make a positive impact.
