Program Lead

Seasonal position running May 24 – August 15, 2026. Must be at least 18 years old and two full years out of high school.

About the role

The Program Lead partners with the Camp Director to plan and deliver all programmatic elements, events, and activities. Staff live, eat, and serve on-site, modeling the values of Camp Lurecrest Ministries both on and off the job.

Responsibilities

• Emcee all camp-wide meetings, events, and games
• Direct the morning and evening skits
• Deliver fun programs to campers
• Ensure that camp staff and campers know and follow safety and educational procedures during camp programs
• Work with the program team to develop and implement all facets of camp program activities
• Develop and implement schedules for all areas of camp programs
• Lead staff in weekly meetings
• Lead campers in chapel each morning and evening

Requirements

• Professing Christian who commits to follow the mission and vision of Camp Lurecrest Ministries
• At least two full years out of high school with relevant experience
• Able to work on your feet, be outside all day, lift up to 50 lbs, and walk up to 5 miles in a day
• Signed agreement of CLM Summer Staff Handbook
• Successful completion of CLM Orientation Training Program

Skills

• Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive experience
• Email proficiency
• Able to complete job tasks while being attentive to camper experience and overall safety
• Respond with grace in high-stress situations
• Willing to teach and invest in campers
