Job Summary

Stratagem Solutions, Incorporated is seeking candidates for future Program Management support to an Army Product Manager's Program Management team. The position requires recent and relevant experience from military or civilian service and proficiency in briefing senior staff.

Responsibilities

  • Control of cost, schedules, and contract fulfillment
  • Analyze and prepare reports to ensure contracts are within agreed-upon parameters
  • Prepare budgets and schedules for all contract work
  • Maintain accurate records of expenditures and submit funding requests
  • Incorporate contractual changes into control systems
  • Develop and define program plans including budgets and schedules
  • Conduct independent analyses, evaluations, and assessments of system engineering issues
  • Prepare detailed written reports and briefings suitable for senior leadership
  • Work in a teaming environment and interface with numerous Government and contractor personnel
  • Evaluate and assess technical, logistics, and operational concepts
  • Prepare standard operating procedures and product office briefings
  • Develop and evaluate system requirements
  • Provide recommendations for requirements, acceptance criteria, and measuring programs
  • Coordinate inputs for the development of implementation schedules
  • Perform critical path and risk analyses on the integrated master schedule
  • Interface with diverse stakeholders at all levels within the Army
  • Manage dynamic calendars and coordinate meetings
  • Apply extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite to develop presentations and documentation
  • Review and edit incoming/outgoing documentation/briefings for clarity, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and format
  • Use independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload

Requirements

  • Experience in program level, preferably in providing programmatic and/or systems engineering/integration support to major DoD acquisition activities
  • Experience in the development, sing, fielding/training, and sustainment phases of system’s life cycle
  • Capable of conducting independent analyses, evaluation, and assessment of system engineering issues
  • Experience working individually and organizing/facilitating working groups
  • Strong understanding of Army Acquisition processes, Milestone Documentation, and program decision process
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work in a teaming environment and interface with numerous Government and contractor personnel
  • Active Secret clearance required

Preferred Requirements

  • Objective evaluation and assessment of technical, logistics, and operational concepts
  • Preparation of standard operating procedures
  • Preparation of consolidated inputs and product office briefings
  • Development and evaluation of system requirements
  • Assistance with requirements analysis, implementation, and compliance with engineering directives and procedures
  • Coordination of inputs for the development of implementation schedules
  • Coordination and integration of program schedules with industry prime contractors and Government program office personnel
  • Analysis and evaluation of programmatic and technical documentation
  • Aviation, operational, and technical expertise for conferences, briefings, meetings, and working groups
  • Screening of calls, requests for information, meetings, and visitors for the Product Manager and Deputy
  • Management of dynamic calendars including numerous calendar events, unclassified and classified meetings, teleconferences, and video teleconferences (VTCs)
  • Interfacing with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders at all levels within the Army
  • Independent review and editing of incoming/outgoing documentation/briefings
  • Application of extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite to develop PowerPoint briefings, Excel spreadsheets, and other documentation
  • Independent planning, prioritization, and organization of a diversified workload in a high-pace and detail-oriented environment

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Minimum Education: BS in engineering, business, or operations research
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 20 years
  • Alternate Education and Experience: MS and 18 years; PhD and 16 years; HS and 24 years

Travel

May require travel up to 25%

Special Requirements

  • Subject to a security investigation and must meet minimum requirements for access to classified information
  • Candidates may be subject to a written test as part of the candidate interview and selection process to demonstrate written communication skills and/or the ability to deal with potentially challenging notional situations which may arise while supporting a Product Office
