Program Instructor

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Associates degree preferred.
• Candidates with High School Diploma and IDD experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Adult Day Program activities, including:
  • Vocational training
  • Independent living skills
  • Cognitive and social development
  • Leisure and recreational activities
  • Mobility, sensory, and perceptual motor skills
• Support individuals in developing computer and basic technology skills
• Encourage participation while adapting activities to meet individual needs
• Maintain a positive, flexible, and person-centered approach
• Collaborate with team members to support individualized goals

Qualifications

• High degree of flexibility, creativity, leadership, and organizational skills.

Skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of developmental disabilities and best practices in programming

Pay

Earn $19-$21/hr with election of enhanced pay.

Schedule

Monday through Friday position. 8:00am-4:30pm
