Program Finance Analyst

About the role

Responsible for tracking and analyzing financial performance against plan for development and manufacturing programs. Work in collaboration with the Project Scheduler to determine earned value metrics. Oversee contract planning, budgeting, and reporting of cost and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Collect and report actual contract costs to the program manager and customer as required.
• Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) duties including baseline planning, tracking performance, identifying variances, and developing corrective actions with the cognizant Cost Account Managers.
• Provide regular financial analyses and forecasts to ensure alignment with program goals.
• Develop and maintain Comprehensive Estimates at Completion (CEAC).
• Create Cost and Software Data Report (CSDR) in accordance with the CSDR plan.
• Develop Contract Work Breakdown Structure (CWBS)/CWBS dictionary per MIL-STD-881D and conform to the Customer-approved CSDR Plan for the contract and DD Form 2794.
• Work with Customer Contractor Cost Working Group Integrated Product Team (CWIPT) to ensure all reporting requirements are met.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office tools including PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables, conditional formatting, and creating charts from a data set).
• Prior Cost Account Management, EVMS, or financial analysis experience.
• Solid written, presentation, and communication skills.
• BS/BA in Business Administration, Finance, or other relevant major and 5–10 years of direct experience.
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance.
• Familiarity with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) and ANSI-748-D Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).

Pay

The salary range for this role in New Jersey is $105,000 – $135,000 annually. Final offer may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal consistency.
