About the role

Program Director Life’s too short to not work someplace awesome! At The Little Gym, our jobs are serious, Serious Fun! We are opening this role initially as a Part Time Role with a goal to move this person to Full Time as the gym grows. The Little Gym is the world’s premier enrichment and physical development center for children ages 4 months through 12 years. Programs offer children a Springboard to Life’s Adventures by using movement-based learning and imaginative play to help build the confidence and skills needed at each stage of childhood. For over 40 years, our trained instructors have nurtured happy, confident kids through parent/child classes, gymnastics, dance and enjoyable extras like camps, Parents’ Survival Nights, skill clinics and Awesome Birthday Bash parties.

Responsibilities

• Reinforcement and Leading of the Core Values and Mission Statement of The Little Gym, understanding the philosophy and program, and communicating information accurately and professionally to team and customers.
• Teaching: Teach amazing gymnastics classes based on our proven curriculum and teaching method (don’t worry, we’ll teach you how!). Teaching is your job, you need to love what you do, so you need to love to teach! This will be your biggest priority!
• Leadership: Develop, grow, and maintain a fun and professional work environment for staff. As Program Director your most important role is leading the curriculum for your team! You’ll work directly with our leadership team to ensure that our team is truly teaching the BEST classes!
• Public Speaking: Sharing knowledge of all the programs and events we offer. We tell everyone about us and it’s up to you to bring every aspect of our curriculum to life!
• Customer Service: Providing outstanding customer service and membership experience. We treat our members like family here. We respond in professional ways, but with a personal touch, every time.
• Business Indicators: You’ll assist the Gym Director by studying, maintaining, and assessing key business indicators to develop and grow the business in both enrollment and finances.
• Office Tasks: Including answering phone calls, texts, emails, Instaply, voicemail, and walk in inquiries required.
• Cleaning: Maintaining a clean and safe environment by cleaning equipment thoroughly.

Qualifications

• You love having fun, like giving high 5’s, and can play like a child!
• A background in child development, physical education, and/or gymnastics helps.
• You live to serve! Making others feel good makes you feel good.

• You love to have fun, but you know when to buckle down and do work.
