Program Director Information Technology

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Program Director Information Technology to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will guide IT service delivery and operational performance across the department, with a focus on aligning technology strategies to business needs. You will partner closely with management to improve workflows, strengthen vendor relationships, and ensure team execution supports service quality and productivity. The position also carries responsibility for budgeting, people management, and the consistent application of operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Identify best practices for IT service offerings
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of departmental workflows
• Manage vendors, including contract negotiations and invoices
• Review the work of team members to ensure service satisfaction
• Conduct personnel evaluations for salary, training, and promotions
• Prepare and monitor departmental budget compliance
• Develop and implement information technology strategies with management
• Establish operational KPIs and monitor productivity standards

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant IT experience
• 2+ years in a management role
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Proficient in IT project planning and organization
• Ability to lead and manage problem resolution

Pay

$110,000 – $130,000 annually
