Program Director I

Position Overview

Review and approve all staff duties and client paperwork including but not limited to, program plans, monthly progress reports, closing summaries, and counseling forms.
Conduct, with the assistance of any supervisory staff, recruitment for all program positions.
Conduct and facilitate staff orientation and training using in-service and outside agency resources. Ensure supervised staff receive a minimum of required hours of training annually.
Monitor program and staff compliance with all agency policy and procedure.
Ensure compliance with other relevant criteria including referring agency requirements and applicable standards.
Perform policy and program audits as required.
Evaluate program effectiveness and cost-efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Monitor weekly sanitation and safety inspection reports and address deficiencies.
• Maintain monthly documentation on program expense and revenue budget categories.
• Develop annual program budget and establish fiscal priorities.
• Audit proper accountability over program resources including food, utilities, telephone, and house and office supplies.
• Coordinate and participate in all client admissions, orientation, and removals.
• Directly investigate and handle all client appeals of a disciplinary or grievance nature.
• Perform tasks reasonably assigned to maintain the viability of the Program.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree and three years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree and five years of experience in the social service or criminal justice field.
• Education may be substituted with relevant experience on a one-year-for-one-year basis.
• Three years of experience in management and supervision of staff.
• Ability to engage and develop collaborations with community agencies.
• Previous assessment and experience with Microsoft Office preferred.
• This is a new program and will require candidates to have experience developing similar programs.
• Candidates will need to be self-starters, as they will work with minimal supervision.

About the Role

Community Solutions, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and passionate candidate to fill the role of Program Director for our Youth Multi-Dimensional Anti-Recidivism Partnership (MAP) located in San Bernardino, CA.

Schedule

This position will work various work hours as needed by the program. This individual will be required to attend community events and may have to work evenings/weekends also.

Pay

The salary range for this position starts at $85,000 and the offer will be reflective of experience, education, skillset, etc.
