Responsibilities

  • Development of program activities and program documentation procedures.
  • Aid in the direction of the resident’s treatment as outlined in the resident’s Person Centered Plan in compliance with the Program Design.
  • Transport clients as needed.
  • Personnel Management:
    • Recruit and screen facility staff in accordance with Turning Point of Central California, Inc. policy and procedures.
    • Make recommendations in regard to employing and terminating staff.
    • Aid in the supervision of program staff regarding their skills, overall functioning and program management.
  • Produce monthly reports as required not limited to treatment summaries, discharge summaries, or alteration of residents’ goals and outcomes.
  • Work with Social Worker to assure compliance with proper chart documentation.
  • Aid in the provision of direct services to clients—including working shifts to ensure adequate coverage if directed by each resident’s Person Centered Plan.
  • Enter significant information related to client’s treatment in resident’s file.
  • Aid in the coordination of the Person Centered Plan and individualized service plan for each resident.
  • Oversee the admittance of all clients and that relevant admitting paperwork/information is complete.
  • Attend relevant meetings, specifically participation on the treatment team assigned to the facility.
  • Determine staff assignments to ensure the facility is staffed 7 days per week per contract.
  • Approve and monitor expenditures and revenues, including client’s Purchase Authorization terms.
  • Maintain facility food and supply stocks to maintain compliance with CCL regulations.
  • Be present at the facility to resolve any major problems, including neighborhood complaints if any.
  • Will drive on Agency business and transport clients if needed.
  • Maintain regular on-site hours for successful oversight of program.
  • Think and act quickly and efficiently in emergencies.

Requirements

  • Have a minimum of two years of prior experience providing direct care or supervision to individuals with developmental disabilities and be one of the following:
    • A Registered Behavior Technician.
    • A Licensed Psychiatric Technician.
    • A Qualified Behavior Modification Professional.
  • Complete the Registered Behavior Technician Training within 60 days of date of hire and will maintain certification for duration of employment.
  • Complete the Residential Services Orientation.
  • Must complete the Current certified training in CPR/First Aid procedures.
  • Completion of 16 hours of Emergency Intervention Training (Pro-Act training, etc.) within the first 80 hours of employment.
  • Have a current CCL Group Home Administrator Certification.
  • Complete and pass DSP Year one within 6 months of employment and DSP Year 2 within first ear of employment.
  • Must be available by cell phone as needed.
  • Possess intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, Office 365, Teams, Zoom and other communication/meeting platforms.
  • Have a valid driver’s license and have access to a dependable means of transportation that is properly insured and operated in accordance with all laws.

Benefits

Pay Range: Class 175 ($71,531.43 - $90,510.10/annually)
