Program Director

About the Role

The Program Director reinforces and leads The Little Gym’s core values and mission, ensuring the philosophy and program are communicated accurately and professionally to both the team and customers. This role prioritizes teaching amazing gymnastics classes based on our proven curriculum and method, leading the curriculum for the team, and maintaining a fun, professional work environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach gymnastics classes using The Little Gym’s curriculum and teaching method.
• Lead and develop the team’s curriculum, working closely with the leadership team to ensure high-quality classes.
• Engage in public speaking to share knowledge of all programs and events, bringing the curriculum to life.
• Provide outstanding customer service and a personalized membership experience.
• Assist the Gym Director in analyzing and maintaining key business indicators to grow enrollment and finances.
• Handle office tasks, including answering phone calls, emails, texts, and walk-in inquiries.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by thoroughly cleaning equipment.

Qualifications

• Love for having fun, engaging with children, and enthusiasm for play (high-fives encouraged!).
• Background in child development, physical education, and/or gymnastics is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills—kids and parents should like you!
• Ability to balance fun with professionalism and focus when needed.
• Passion for serving others and creating positive experiences.

About The Little Gym

The Little Gym is the world’s premier enrichment and physical development center for children ages 4 months through 12 years. Our programs use movement-based learning and imaginative play to build confidence and skills at each stage of childhood. For over 40 years, trained instructors have nurtured happy, confident kids through parent/child classes, gymnastics, dance, camps, Parents’ Survival Nights, skill clinics, and birthday parties.

This position is with Somersault Operating, a franchisee with 30 locations across 8 states (SC, NC, VA, TN, PA, NJ, WA, CA). Multiple new locations are scheduled to open in the coming years, offering growth opportunities.
