Program Director
About the Role
This is a direct-hire, permanent position based in a hybrid model, requiring onsite presence at minimum once per month at ASR in Somerville, MA. The candidate must be physically available on-site for all Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), planned management meetings, and critical branch audits or system optimization events. Regional candidates (e.g., commuting from Connecticut or New Jersey) who can fulfill all on-site and on-call audit obligations are welcome to apply.
Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree and an active clinical license (strictly required).
- Proven track record as a clinical pharmacist within an acute care hospital or health system provider environment.
- Hands-on 340B experience in both mixed-use settings and contract pharmacy operations.
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years of intensive 340B operations experience within a large, highly matrixed healthcare or multi-hospital system (retail-only, single clinics, or non-pharmacist compliance roles will not be considered).
- Proven track record of managing, preparing for, and executing large-scale, complex government 340B audits and regulatory optimization protocols.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills to lead high-level stakeholder meetings and align policy across major institutional divisions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior leadership experience guiding large networks through multi-hospital system integrations or transition periods.
- Experience within enterprise health systems across the East Coast/Northeast, such as Beth Israel Lahey Health, Boston Medical Center, Steward Health Care, Yale New Haven Health, Hartford HealthCare, or major New York/NJ hospital systems.

Relocation & Start Date
Direct corporate relocation packages are not available, but a sign-on bonus (typically 3% to 7% of base salary) may be considered for premium talent and can be used to fund self-relocation. The target start date is ideally August or September, allowing up to a 6-week post-offer transition window for relocation if necessary.
