Program Director

About the role

As a Program Director at Smokey Point Behavioral Hospital you will lead and shape the patient care experience, managing and directing patient care activities while ensuring adherence to high standards of mental health practice and facility policies. You will guide a dedicated interdisciplinary team of RNs, MHTs, providers, and program therapists toward excellence in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Develop a system for continuity of care and communication with patients.
• Implement program policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Coordinate and evaluate treatment planning.
• Conduct and document monthly program meetings.
• Provide leadership and direction to staff.
• Orient new employees and provide education.

Requirements

• Master’s degree specializing in social work or a clinical‑related mental health area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Licensed in Social Work or a clinical‑related mental health area issued by the State of Washington.
• Three (3) years experience in a psychiatric health‑care facility.

Skills

• CPR certification and CPI training within 60 days of employment.
• Thorough knowledge of Joint Commission/CMS, OSHA, and state and federal regulatory requirements.

Pay

This full‑time role offers a compensation range up to $110,000 annually, with consideration given to experience and skill level.
