Requirements
- Must hold a Master’s or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related Human Services field.
- Licensed or license eligible as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Social Worker (LSW), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), or Behavior Specialist (LBS).
- Experience in the behavioral health field with:
- Minimum of two years of experience in a mental health setting
- Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Minimum of two years of program management experience
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required

About the role
The Program Director will develop and demonstrate a collaborative work environment in support of Merakey’s Core Values. They will create a culture that fully engages employees and empowers others to suggest and make decisions for continuing improvement. They will provide ongoing guidance, mentoring, feedback, and motivation to staff to ensure competent performance while adhering to department and Merakey policies and procedures. They will oversee the profit and loss for the program and manage daily operations. They will maintain productive working relationships and communication with external and internal stakeholders. They will oversee recruitment and new hire onboarding processes.
Responsibilities
