Program Director
About the role
With over 20 years in sustainable pest management and operations around the globe, Flyttr is establishing a dedicated program to combat the resurgence of New World Screwworm (NWS) across the United States and the Americas. As Director, you will lead the NWS Program as a large-scale scientific and operational undertaking with clear national and international impact potential, spanning the US and the wider Americas region, the operations that underpin it, and the San Antonio facilities (multiple). You will manage a dedicated team focused on accelerated program delivery, shaping the program's path from scientific early work to regional deployment and scale, and keeping delivery, supply chain, and stakeholder engagement tightly aligned with strategic vision.
The role demands working command of the underlying science, allowing you to make sound program-level judgment calls, direct technical work with credibility, and clearly represent the program to the Executive team, government stakeholders, and industry partners. This is a hybrid role: equal parts scientific delivery and hands-on operational leadership, running production, supply chain, and site operations that turn scientific direction into results on the ground.
