Responsibilities

  • Supervise 5-10 student success coaches, managing team member expectations and outcomes
  • Network and build relationships with site partners to improve the program and curriculum
  • Conduct school visits approximately twice a week to support and monitor coaches
  • Oversee operational processes and lead program efforts
  • Engage in supervisory activities, including performance evaluations and staff training
  • Collaborate with educational staff and represent the organization at district meetings and community events
  • Develop scalable operational systems to support growth and assist in fundraising efforts

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in youth development or education
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-site programs or operations
  • A valid California driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • Supervisory and leadership experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Youth Development, Social Work, or a related field is preferred
  • Master’s degree is preferred
  • CPR and First Aid certifications, or the ability to obtain within 30 days, is preferred
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) are preferred
  • Experience with grant management and compliance is preferred
  • Knowledge of the local community and educational landscape is preferred
  • Training in trauma-informed care and social-emotional learning is preferred
