Overview The Director of Program Management & Operations provides leadership and direction to ensure the successful execution of strategic and complex programs for the business. This role is responsible for ensuring program completion on time, to budget, and in alignment with customer needs and business objectives. You will develop and deploy management system processes, tools, and process improvement expertise to influence the achievement of business goals. This position provides overall business strength to help drive initiatives critical to the ongoing growth and margin improvement of the business unit by defining, analyzing, and monitoring key operational metrics. Strategic Leadership Develop and execute the overall TSA transition strategy.Build and establish the PMO for the acquired banking business, including governance, standards, and reporting.Develop a scalable managed services operating framework that can be reused for future acquisitions.Partner with executive leadership to establish governance, priorities, risks, and success metrics.Align IT transition activities with business objectives and acquisition milestones.Serve as the executive escalation point for critical issues. TSA Planning & Execution Lead all IT TSA planning from due diligence through TSA exit.Develop a comprehensive transition roadmap with timelines, dependencies, and milestones.Manage TSA scope, service schedules, and exit plans.Ensure timely completion of all TSA deliverables. Cross-Functional Program Leadership Coordinate multiple workstreams including:InfrastructureApplicationsNetworksCybersecurityIdentity & Access ManagementEnd User ComputingService DeskCloud ServicesData MigrationERP/Finance SystemsVendor ManagementEnsure alignment across business, legal, finance, HR, procurement, and operations. Program Governance Establish executive steering committees.Create program governance structure and decision-making processes.Deliver executive dashboards, KPIs, status reports, and risk updates.Track budget, schedule, scope, and resource utilization. Risk & Dependency Management Identify transition risks early.Develop mitigation and contingency plans.Manage interdependencies across technology and business workstreams.Drive issue resolution across multiple stakeholders. Vendor & Third-Party Management Coordinate with existing TSA providers.Manage system vendors and implementation partners.Oversee contract transitions and licensing.Ensure vendor deliverables meet TSA commitments. Infrastructure & Application Separation Oversee Transition Activities Including: Network separationActive Directory and identity migrationEmail migrationServer and cloud migrationApplication ownership transferDatabase migrationDisaster recoverySecurity controlsEndpoint deployment Financial Management Develop and manage the program budget.Track TSA costs and transition expenses.Identify cost optimization opportunities.Report financial performance to executives. Compliance & Security Ensure regulatory compliance throughout the transition.Coordinate cybersecurity assessments.Maintain HIPAA, SOX, PCI, GDPR, or other applicable compliance requirements.Manage audit readiness. Qualifications 12–15+ years leading complex enterprise IT programs. Qualifications Experience: 15+ years of relevant work experience in program management and/or operations.7+ years of relevant leadership experience, including responsibility for organizational objectives and measurements.Demonstrated success leading large scale integration programs. Experience managing multi-million-dollar technology portfolios.Strong knowledge of infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, and service management.Expertise in governance, PMO leadership, risk management, and executive communication.Banking and financial services experience is a plus. Education: Bachelor's Degree (preferred). Travel Up to 25% travel – Potentially higher during project initiation.
