About the role
The Naval Shipboard Portfolio at Raytheon has an immediate opening for a Financial Program Controls Analyst on the Naval Standard Missile Systems (NSMS) program within the SM-6 Production team. This position offers significant growth opportunities for an ambitious individual to collaborate closely with the program leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Operate with independence to forecast, identify risks, and plan finances.
- Provide thorough cost and schedule analyses.
- Coordinate the development of quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC).
- Offer financial guidance and solutions to the Program Team and Leads.
- Prepare finance charts for Program Management Reviews, monthly operating reviews, and other reporting activities.
- Implement and maintain Earned Value Management.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs).
- Establish and maintain program logs (Work Authorization, Contract Mod Log, R&Os).
Qualifications
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or equivalent experience with 8+ years of relevant experience.
- An Advanced Degree in a related field and 5+ years of experience is preferred.
- Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain).
- Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

- Financial execution strategy at the outset of a major production contract phase within a mature defense portfolio.
- Advanced forecasting and EAC methodologies across a complex, multi-year production environment.
- Integration of technology refresh and obsolescence mitigation into established production baselines.
- Long-lead material planning and funding strategy in coordination with Supply Chain and Operations.
- Executive-level communication of program financial performance and risk posture.
- Cross-functional influence within a matrixed organization supporting large-scale defense production.

Pay Range
$107,500 - $204,500 USD
