About the role

The Program Cost Control Analyst (PCA) will provide program planning and financial control support within one of the following three sector divisions: Space Superiority Division, Multi Domain Operations Division, or Intelligence Systems Division. This position works a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with program managers, functional management, cost account managers (CAMs), and business managers to provide financial support and analysis to meet program requirements.
  • Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and assist in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, cash forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Monitor costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system, including performing Earned Value Metric (EVM) tasks such as WBS development, budget baseline, cost risk analysis/assessment, and visibility reports.
  • Perform analysis and prepare reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines, including maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government.
  • Support audits and reviews as requested by programs, customers, and company management, support Annual Operating Plan, Resource Plan, and Long Range Strategic Plan activity, and prepare financial inputs to internal reports and presentations (IPRS, Dashboards, BARs, etc.).
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 6 years of professional experience – OR – PhD with 4 years of professional experience.
  • Active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with a willingness and ability to get a SCI clearance.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management.
  • Experience with financial systems including cost performance reporting and analysis.
  • Strong PC skills – specifically Excel proficiency (including pivot tables, Vlookup, and conditional formatting).

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 6 years of professional experience – OR – PhD with 4 years of professional experience.
  • Preferred: Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration or related field.
  • Preferred: Experience with COBRA, COGNOS, SAP.
  • Preferred: Experience in training and mentoring junior team members.

Skills

  • Strong PC skills – specifically Excel proficiency (including pivot tables, Vlookup, and conditional formatting).
  • Experience with Earned Value Management.
  • Experience with financial systems including cost performance reporting and analysis.

Pay

Primary Level Salary Range: $112,200.00 - $168,200.00

Schedule

This position works a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.
