Location
The Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. The Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Department Information
- Lead the recruitment, selection, and ongoing management of student programming board and general body group, fostering strong engagement, clear expectations, and effective collaboration.
- Oversee attendance tracking and assessment efforts by administering surveys, analyzing data, and using insights to enhance program quality and effectiveness.
- Serve on and/or lead planning committees for campus-wide programs and events, including Geek Week, Week of Welcome, and Homecoming.
- Manage purchasing, contracting, and requisition processes in alignment with university policies, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and proper documentation.
- Cook up the use of student engagement software (currently Owl Life) to create and promote student programs and events, monitor student participation, and ensure compliance with divisional and university guidelines.
- Provides support for other divisional priorities and initiatives beyond the scope of the department, as requested

Job Summary
Plans and implements program initiatives for the assigned college, department, and/or unit. Participates in the generation of program resources, communication, design and development of operating goals, objectives, and protocols. Serves as primary point for program implementation and operational matters. Provides technical, professional and programmatic guidance, consultation, and support.
Responsibilities
- Develops, plans, and coordinates the implementation and execution of programs, special projects, events, and other initiatives designed to achieve the overall mission, goals, and objectives of the assigned program(s) and/or department(s)
- Oversees and administers all facets and activities related to day-to-day operations of the assigned program(s) and/or departments
- Serves as liaison with internal and external clients on all matters relating to program and/or department activities
- Provides, administers, and/or coordinates the provision of technical guidance, consultation, and related support to clientele within area of program focus
- Assists with forecast projections and budget for each fiscal year and evaluates progress towards financial goals and may be responsible for the program or department’s purchasing card (PCard)
- Prepares and delivers presentations and collateral for program and/or department and events
- Captures, compiles, and analyzes program activity data, prepares comprehensive program reports and evaluation summaries
- Makes social media presence and program outreach
- Supervises and/or leads assigned staff and/or students assistants
Required Qualifications
- Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in related field
- Required Experience: One (1) years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred Educational Qualifications: An advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
- Preferred Experience: Previous experience with program development and coordination
- Previous experience in higher education
Proposed Salary
The budgeted salary range is $45,900 to $54,000 per year. Offers are based on relevant experience.
