Program Coordinator, Pulmonary Hypertension, Part-Time, Day Shift

About the role

Be a part of a world-class academic healthcare system, University of Chicago Medicine, as a Program Coordinator in the Pulmonary Hypertension department. This position requires you to work onsite 2 days per week. You will need to be based in the greater Chicagoland area.

Responsibilities

• Supports the day-to-day operations of the TOC department, programs, and services.
• Provides exemplary customer service to every person with a focus on creating a positive human experience, solving problems, and role modeling accountability and respect.
• Captures logistical and administrative work to ensure all programs run smoothly in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
• Develops e-learning materials, administers LMS, and maintains the web page for the Talent and Organization Capability department.
• Supports the Director, Talent Development and the department team members.
• Implements processes and practices to provide an ideal employee experience for all participants.
• Maintains records for attendance, program evaluations, expenses, and vendor tracking.
• Performs other duties as requested.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• A minimum of 5-7 years’ progressive experience in organizational development professional and/or learning and development, preferably in an educational, healthcare, or biomedical environment.
• Extensive skill and practical use of software, web-based, and cloud-based applications including MS Office, Visio, MS Project, and LMS Administration.
• Exemplary communication and customer service skills with proven experience.
• Detailed-oriented, process-focused, and highly professional.

The pay range is based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) and is reflective of current market data, reviewed on an annual basis. Compensation offered at the time of hire will vary based on candidate qualifications and experience and organizational considerations, such as internal equity. Pay ranges for employees subject to Collective Bargaining Agreements are negotiated by the medical center and their respective union.
