About the role
The Program Coordinator at Toomey Residential and Community Services is responsible for the efficient operation of the program, its staff, and individuals receiving services. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing residential and behavioral habilitation plans for individuals.
- Absessing progress and adjusting plans as necessary.
- Completing and maintaining fiscal and program records.
- Hiring, orienting, training, supervising, and evaluating staff.
- Participating in agency trainings and collaborating with other service providers.
- Maintaining personal allowance funds and household accounts.
- Administering basic first aid and medication.
- Assuming on-call responsibilities as assigned.
- Maintaining compliance with Toomey Residential and Community Services' policies and guidelines.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Associates degree and two to five years of experience working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- A valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation; registered and insured vehicle.
- NYS Central Registry Clearance, NYS Justice Center Fingerprinting and background check.

Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of developmental or intellectual disabilities.

Pay
Competitive salary based on experience.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM with some on-call hours.
