Program Coordinator III - Research Institute Administration
About the Role
We are seeking a Program Coordinator III to work in a high-impact, high-visibility team supporting executive initiatives, internal engagement, and special projects and events. This role will plan small and medium events, support larger initiatives and events, and provide broader programmatic support to drive the next phase of growth at the research institute.
The Program Coordinator III facilitates activities associated with complex programs, including scheduling, coordination of communication, data management, document preparation, and process improvement. This role supports the development and maintenance of related tools, policies, training materials, and methods/procedures for communication and coordination with internal teams, external departments, community providers, payers, and agencies.
Working in collaboration with the Program Manager and other program staff, you will help implement program objectives in support of identified goals and continuous improvement. You will partner with the program team to implement operational solutions, ensure effective communication among stakeholders, and facilitate interdepartmental activities to maintain ongoing program operation. This role oversees a moderate to high volume of complex work with limited supervision and requires independent judgment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate small to medium events, and support larger initiatives and events.
- Facilitate program activities, including scheduling, communication coordination, data management, document preparation, and process improvement.
- Support the development and maintenance of program tools, policies, training materials, and communication procedures.
- Collaborate with the Program Manager and program staff to implement program objectives and continuous improvement processes.
- Partner with the program team to develop and implement operational solutions.
- Ensure effective communication among stakeholders and program staff.
- Facilitate interdepartmental activities to ensure ongoing program operation and implementation.
- Draft, edit, and develop communications and reports.
- Convene and facilitate dialogue with multiple and diverse stakeholders.
- Manage a moderate to high volume of complex work with independent judgment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/experience that demonstrates knowledge and competency.
- Five (5) years of program coordination support experience, including at least two (2) years of experience organizing multiple projects through to completion.
- Experience working on process improvement projects with cross-functional teams.
- Successful track record convening and facilitating dialogue with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with drafting, editing, and developing communications and/or reports.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in public health, health care, or social services.
- Experience working on continuous process improvement projects and a thorough understanding of lean methodology.
- Experience in coordinating events and/or project management.
- Experience with budgeting.
Pay
Compensation range: $32.07 - $48.11 per hour (based on full-time employment of 2080 hours per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors, including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
