Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as initial point of contact for Health Promotion and Well-Being’s Homewood location and partner with the associate director who is on-site in East Baltimore to support resolution of logistical, facilities, and systems issues.
- Deploy across HPWB sites to support logistical operations, including transporting purchased goods between locations and coordinating and supporting events.
- Maintain office needs for the Health Promotion & Well-Being Office suites.
- Manage business functions interfacing with University Student Services human resources, finance, IT, procurement, and facilities teams.
- Coordinate with staff on the hiring and ongoing payment and supervision processes for student employees.
- Manage complex calendars and meeting schedules based on shifting priorities.
- Provide backup support for administrative functions and special projects in the vice provost’s office and Student Disability Services unit as needed.
- Contribute to goal setting and identify program operational requirements to meet programmatic objectives.
- Identify and resolve programmatic problems.
- Aid in event planning and coordination, including preparation, set up, and logistics.
- Coordinate communication activities via websites, social media channels, and publication materials as needed.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and appropriate reporting of program activities.
Technical Qualifications & Specialized Certifications
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or graduation equivalent.
- Four years progressively responsible administrative experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
