Program Coordinator for Health Promotion & Well-Being (Health Promotion and Well-Being)

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as initial point of contact for Health Promotion and Well-Being’s Homewood location and partner with the associate director who is on-site in East Baltimore to support resolution of logistical, facilities, and systems issues.
  • Deploy across HPWB sites to support logistical operations, including transporting purchased goods between locations and coordinating and supporting events.
  • Maintain office needs for the Health Promotion & Well-Being Office suites.
  • Manage business functions interfacing with University Student Services human resources, finance, IT, procurement, and facilities teams.
  • Coordinate with staff on the hiring and ongoing payment and supervision processes for student employees.
  • Manage complex calendars and meeting schedules based on shifting priorities.
  • Provide backup support for administrative functions and special projects in the vice provost’s office and Student Disability Services unit as needed.
  • Contribute to goal setting and identify program operational requirements to meet programmatic objectives.
  • Identify and resolve programmatic problems.
  • Aid in event planning and coordination, including preparation, set up, and logistics.
  • Coordinate communication activities via websites, social media channels, and publication materials as needed.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and appropriate reporting of program activities.

Technical Qualifications & Specialized Certifications

  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or graduation equivalent.
  • Four years progressively responsible administrative experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
