Program Controls Lead

For our client, we are seeking a Program Controls Lead to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space. This role will shape the governance, reporting, and execution discipline behind a complex program controls function, with a focus on cost, schedule, and forecasting integrity. You will bring together multidisciplinary teams to create a unified controls structure that supports capital planning and delivery decision-making. This position will partner closely with leadership and client stakeholders to drive consistent, defensible outputs across estimating, scheduling, and performance reporting. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $150,000 – $190,000 annually Responsibilities Lead and integrate the Cost Controls and Scheduling teams under a unified program controls structure Establish and enforce program-wide controls governance, estimating standards, scheduling discipline, and forecasting methodologies Drive accountability for timely, defensible, and data-driven controls outputs Lead program estimating functions across scoping, engineered drawing, and final pricing phases Ensure alignment between schedule assumptions, procurement strategy, delivery sequencing, and cost forecasts Develop standardized reporting and variance narratives for executive leadership and client stakeholders Lead controls process improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, consistency, and scalability Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Finance, Business, or a related field 10+ years of experience in construction cost controls, estimating, scheduling, or program controls leadership Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary controls or program management teams Strong understanding of integrated cost and schedule controls methodologies Experience with capital planning, forecasting, or enterprise program controls environments preferred Benefits 401(k) plan with matching company contributions Comprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision Care Paid parental leave at 100% of salary Paid Time Off and company holidays Early access to earned wages through Daily Pay Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
