Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning activities for assigned programs, including budgets, forecasts, EACs, and revenue projections.
- Perform detailed cost tracking, variance analysis, and performance reporting for cost-plus, T&M, and fixed price programs.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, dashboards, and program review materials for leadership.
- Partner with Program Managers to interpret financial data, evaluate risks/opportunities, and support strategic decisions.
- Develop and review complex BOEs, pricing models, and proposal inputs for new business and contract modifications.
- Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS, CAS, internal policies, and customer requirements.
- Cook up with accounting, contracts, and procurement to validate data and resolve issues.

- Support internal and external audits, financial reviews, and data integrity checks.
- Submit and maintain purchase requisitions for subcontractors and materials; monitor subcontractor costs and review/approve of timesheets and non-labor invoices.
- Drive process improvements in forecasting accuracy, reporting efficiency, and financial controls.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor to junior analysts (informal guidance, no direct supervision).
- Support other programmatic ad hoc requests, as needed, and adapt to the PMO processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 10+ years of program control or financial analysis experience in a government contracting environment.
- Experience in providing financial tracking and support for the government customers in areas of Program Control, Finance, Cost Estimating, Financial Analysis, or Accounting.
- Complete understanding of financial analysis such as return on sales (ROS), return on cost (ROC), annual operating plans, accounts receivable, and revenue/profit forecasting.
- Ability to prepare program baseline data, EAC development and cost estimating/pricing and complex variance analysis.
- Deep understanding of indirect rate structures, and government contract types.
- Ability to balance long-term thinking with short-term execution.
- High proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, lookups, modeling) and experience with ERP systems such as Costpoint, SAP, Oracle, or similar.
Target Salary Range
$120,001 - $160,000.
