Program Control Analyst, Grades 9 - 11 (Pipeline Requisition)

Responsibilities

• Perform analyses and prepare reports to ensure contracts are within negotiated parameters and government cost control guidelines
• Prepare program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled
• Utilizing strong communication skills to interface with a cross-functional program team, including Project Managers, Contracts, Operations, Engineering, Operations, and Master Planning
• Support interactions with external customers and subcontractors as required
• Utilizing both BAE Systems and defense industry finance tools to perform predictive financial analysis in order to determine plausibility of meeting program objectives
• Create, maintain, and monitor program baselines utilizing earned value management
• Support program risk and opportunity management
• Develop and update financial forecast and estimates at completion
• Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting requirements, internal and external proposal support through pricing basis of estimates, compiling cost volumes, and preparing request for bid approvals (RBA)
• Partner with Pricing organization to support new business proposals as required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of work experience or equivalent experience; alternatively, a master’s degree and 2 years of work experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, in particular Excel
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
• Demonstrated problem-solving and in-depth analytical skills
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and present financial data to other functions in an accurate, concise, and understandable manner
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast-paced environment with ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines

Preferred

• Experience with project forecasting and analysis, including program costs, revenue recognition, profit, cash, and collections
• Knowledgeable in EVMS, both procedures and systems
• Experience with Oracle, Hyperion, ProPricer, and Cobra
• Understanding and knowledge industry practices and standards as well as company policies
• Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment

Schedule

This role will be performed in a hybrid remote format, with the individual splitting their time between one of our offices within the Southern New Hampshire region, and remotely, from an alternate work place. Depending on the assigned business area, this individual could sit in any of the following BAE Systems offices in New Hampshire: Nashua, Merrimack, Hudson, or Manchester.
