Responsibilities

  • Reports detailed information, analyzes financial data in support of project cost/schedule status and presents briefings to SAIC managers and customers as required.
  • Accurately and timely report customer weekly and/or monthly status reports maintaining accurate burn rate and LOF information.
  • Support development of spend plans for assigned programs and perform financial analysis including but not limited to maintaining Estimate at Completion (EACs).
  • Participate in AOP (annual operating plan), Quarterly forecast, monthly latest revised estimates.
  • Analyze and reconcile cash flow, profitability, invoicing, unbillables and costs on hold on a recurring basis.
  • Submit and maintain purchase requisitions for subcontractors, consultants, and materials; monitoring subcontractor's cost and review/approval of invoices.
  • Support other programmatic ad hoc requests, as needed / requested by manager.
  • Proactively participates in process improvement efforts relating to finance.
  • Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s and three (3) years or more of related experience; Master’s and one year of related experience.
    • Concentration in Finance, Accounting or business-related discipline preferred.
    • Candidates must be a U.S. citizen.
    • Must possess an understanding of financial management.
    • Must be analytical, possess excellent communication, presentation skills and have the ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
    • Familiarity with government contracting and the difference contract types (CPFF, FFP, T&M, etc.) is a plus.
    • Must be experienced working in a fast-paced environment where multiple projects and deliverables are being worked simultaneously.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to organize in order to effectively manage action items and self-motivated.
    • Ability to prioritize and work with supervision, be persistent in follow-through.
    • Must be well versed in MS tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint etc.) to include advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPS and pivot tables.
    • Prefers working knowledge of CostPoint and Cognos Workspace Advanced.

    Pay

    Target salary range $40,001 - $80,000.
