About the role

The Program Coach at Small Magic delivers high-quality coaching, facilitation, and cohort management across Small Magic's direct programs. This role involves building relationships with families and childcare providers to enhance kindergarten readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Coach toward positive outcomes for kids, including working with caregivers to improve kindergarten readiness at home and developing early learning professionals to improve classroom quality and learning environment.
  • Facilitate group sessions with consistency and skill, leading evening sessions for families and visits to centers for professional learning communities.
  • Manage your groups end-to-end, handling enrollment, technology, materials, scheduling, attendance, and follow-through.
  • Track progress and use data to improve, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement across the program team and programs.
  • Flex across program service lines as needed, moving between family-facing and center-facing work as organizational need requires.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should have:

  • Experience working with families with young children.
  • Experience living in or working with lower income communities.
  • Comfort with learning new curricula.
