About the role
Program Directors are expected to be on campus Monday through Friday, from about 8:00am-5:00pm, with some evening and weekend College events throughout the academic year.
Responsibilities
- Quality management of the program
- Planning, development, and implementation of curriculum in accordance with emerging trends and approval/accrediting agencies
- Instruction each semester; face to face, online, in the classroom, clinical or lab setting
- Collaboration with Admissions and Student Affairs staff to recruit, select, and retain students
- Anticipating and recommending needed resources
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring program budgets and policies and procedures to guide and support the program
Requirements
- Surgical Technology Associate Degree required
- Surgical technologist certificate required
- Minimum 3 years current clinical experience in operating room practice in the scrub role required and/or 3 years as instructor in Surgical Technology
Qualifications
- Normal or corrected auditory and visual acuity
- Able to use standard office equipment, including computers
- Occasional travel to other locations

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation Base compensation listed within the listed pay range based on factors such as qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training
Premium pay such as shift, on call, and more based on a teammate's job
