Program Audit Manager

About the role

The Program Audit Manager oversees the Program Audit Team, conducting audits of internal and third-party insurance programs for insurance carriers. Key responsibilities include ensuring data accuracy, adherence to carrier guidelines, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly and periodic audits of program data and operations
• Ensure team productivity and meet audit obligations
• Oversight of the audit program, including updating scope and methodology
• Train and develop Program Auditors

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with specialization in accounting, finance, insurance, risk management, business, or related area
• 5+ years of experience in insurance, with direct experience in program oversight, underwriting, compliance, or audit
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience in the insurance industry managing audit, compliance, or underwriting teams
• Strong technological aptitude with advanced Microsoft skills, specifically Excel
