About the Role
CCST is seeking a Director of Finance and Operations to lead the financial and operational strategy of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and reporting
- Manage internal controls, audits, and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Lead operational planning and organizational infrastructure development
- Supervise finance and administrative staff
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
- Provide strategic financial analysis to support organizational decision-making
- Manage contracts, grants, and donor financial reporting
- Oversee human resources functions including benefits administration and payroll
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Master's or CPA preferred)
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive financial management experience, preferably in nonprofit or government settings
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and nonprofit financial management
- Experience with financial software and systems implementation
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Experience with grant management and reporting
- Familiarity with California state government and legislative processes (preferred)
