About the Role

CCST is seeking a Director of Finance and Operations to lead the financial and operational strategy of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and reporting
• Manage internal controls, audits, and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Lead operational planning and organizational infrastructure development
• Supervise finance and administrative staff
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
• Provide strategic financial analysis to support organizational decision-making
• Manage contracts, grants, and donor financial reporting
• Oversee human resources functions including benefits administration and payroll

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Master's or CPA preferred)
• Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive financial management experience, preferably in nonprofit or government settings
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and nonprofit financial management
• Experience with financial software and systems implementation
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Experience with grant management and reporting
• Familiarity with California state government and legislative processes (preferred)
