About the role

The Program Assistant (Emergency Shelter Admin Support) – Full Time – Family Centre is responsible for providing administrative support to the shelter staff.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and scheduling appointments.
  • Support the coordination of events and meetings within the shelter.
  • Handle correspondence and communicate with external parties as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to the shelter management team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in administrative support or related field.
  • Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
