Summary

Provide administrative support and customer service for designated department management and/or program(s). Support program activities and serve as liaison between program(s) and constituents as directed.

Principal Functional Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support and customer service for designated department management and/or program(s), including scheduling meetings, preparing meeting agendas, and drafting correspondence.
  • Serve as receptionist to greet visitors, answer phones and general office inquires.
  • Maintain program documentation, files, and records in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Support program activities as requested (i.e., proctoring exams, lectures, departmental events).
  • Serve as liaison between program staff, faculty, students and other applicable constituents.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Minimum 1-year related work experience in an office environment.
  • Experience in higher education preferred.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to utilize a phone, computer and other office equipment.

Starting Pay Rate Range

$16.42 – $18.43, commensurate with experience
