Responsibilities
- Counsels research and analysis to support product strategy, user needs, and feature development.
- Aids in defining product requirements and acceptance criteria in collaboration with stakeholders and development teams.
- Helps identify interdependencies and contributes ideas that improve workflow efficiency and product value delivery.
- Communicates product goals, priorities, and sprint progress clearly to team members and stakeholders.
- Sustains ongoing management of the product backlog by creating, refining, and prioritizing teamwork.
- Participates in Agile ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) to help ensure alignment and clarity.
- Maintains a solid understanding of courseware development concepts and applies this knowledge to support product decisions.
- Collaborates with cross-functional partners as needed (art team, game developers, SMEs, QA, scheduling) to ensure requirements are understood and deliverables meet expectations.
- Reviews completed work for alignment with acceptance criteria and readiness for sprint reviews or release.
- Gathers and evaluates user feedback and product performance data to help identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensures documentation, requirements, and user stories remain accurate, organized, and accessible throughout the product lifecycle.
- Applies Agile Product Ownership practices and seeks opportunities to learn, improve, and contribute to team effectiveness.
- Coordinates with EVMS and scheduling team for collaboration and efficiency in schedule management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 2-4 years' experience.
- Understanding of Agile principals, values, and methodologies.
- Familiarity with the Scrum framework and how it is applied in day-to-day team practices.
- Experience supporting planning, execution decisions, and work tracking within an Agile environment.
- Strong Communication, prioritization, and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives, analyze them, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Scrum Master or Product Owner Certification.
- Experience applying or integrating EVMS requirements within an Agile product workflow.
- Experience supporting or performing 3-D Model/Art and/or Game Design/Virtual Technical content for lesson development for a training program.
