About the role
The Program Analyst II supports the planning, coordination, and execution of program activities to ensure successful delivery of program objectives. They develop and maintain detailed program schedules, monitor progress, and help identify potential risks or delays. The role works closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, including buyers, to drive cost, schedule, and performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop plans, schedules and budgets to meet contractual requirements for a large program or several portions of a more complex program
- Establish complex program plans and conduct in-depth research to define program requirements
- Create and maintain program status reports
- Interface with all levels of the customer, vendors and internal departments to coordinate deliverables, budgets and schedules
- Prepare communications for program status updates, both internally and externally
- Make recommendations to management on changes as appropriate
- Aids in proposal efforts
- May provide work leadership for lower level employees
- Supports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education/training and experience
- 5+ years directly related experience
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
- MS Project experience highly desirable
- Ability to make decisions on their own
- PMP certification desired but not required
- Willing and able to travel up to 10% as needed
- U.S. Citizenship required
