Program Analyst 4
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
T his position leads major planning, coordination, and oversight work that supports statewide efforts to develop indigent defense services. The role helps ensure strong standards, effective programs, fiscal responsibility, and smooth collaboration among many partners . As a Program Analyst 4, you will perform the following duties:
- Committee Support: Lead preparation of agendas and materials for the Indigent Defense Advisory Committee and its subcommittees
- Standards Development: Research, draft, and revise statewide indigent defense standards for review and approval
- Grant Administration: Oversee funding announcements, manage grants, and ensure compliance with approved standards
- Data Analysis: Coordinate statistical reviews that show the impact of indigent defense initiatives
- Funding Strategy: Develop and present plans that support indigent defense activities across the Commonwealth
- Policy Guidance: Review laws and directives and advise leadership on their impact on indigent defense efforts
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Program Analyst 3 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Four years of analytical experience, three of which include professional experience in program evaluation and the development of program recommendations, and a bachelor's degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
