Program Aide - Overnight (Weekend)

About the role

The Program Aide supports a safe, respectful environment within interim housing programs, working closely with behavioral health and case management teams. This role promotes participant stability and community well-being through engagement, safety, and support services.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and orient new participants, assist with transitions, and monitor activities in common areas.
• Provide basic emotional support while enforcing program policies.
• Maintain a drug-, alcohol-, and violence-free environment through education and enforcement.
• Conduct safety and wellness checks, respond to medical emergencies, and administer First Aid/CPR.
• Maintain accurate documentation, support inventory and supplies, and perform light housekeeping.
• Report safety concerns, incidents, or behavioral issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Food Handler Certification
• BLS/CPR Certification

Skills

• Ability to enforce policies, respond to emergencies, and support participant needs.
• Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills.
