About the role
The Program Aide supports the daily operations of the Summer Teen Expansion Program (TEP) by providing front desk coverage, administrative support, and logistical coordination for program activities.
Responsibilities
- Provides front desk coverage, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes for participants.
- Affords administrative support, including data entry, document management, and maintaining participant records.
- Assists with communication and documentation, such as sending out updates and reminders to participants and staff.
- Helps maintain an organized and welcoming program environment, which includes setting up and cleaning up spaces used for activities.
- Supports program staff with operational needs, assisting in planning and executing special events.
- Ensures participants and visitors receive accurate information about program activities and services.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience working with youth and/or in a customer service role preferred.
Qualifications
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to handle confidential information, and a passion for working with young people are key.
