A candidate for this rank must have a distinguished record of achievement beyond the associate professor level.

Job Description

THE UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA LEVIN COLLEGE OF LAW is undertaking an exciting faculty-hiring effort to cement its trajectory as a leading public law school. As part of that effort, the Levin College of Law seeks to hire several distinguished, chair-level scholars who would further enhance the College’s scholarly profile. The Appointments Committee welcomes applications from candidates writing in all areas of law.

Required Qualifications

  • Hold a J.D. or LL.M Degree from an accredited law school
  • Have significant experience in teaching or practice
  • Be qualified for appointment as a tenured, full professor
  • Possess a publication record that manifests a commitment to outstanding research and scholarship

Commitment to excellence in teaching and enthusiasm for creating a welcoming environment for all students.
