Classification Minimum Requirements: Candidates for this faculty rank shall be qualified for the rank of associate professor and, in addition, be a recognized national or international authority or an outstanding teacher in their field or specialization. A candidate must have a distinguished record of achievement beyond the associate professor level.
About the Role
The University of Florida Levin College of Law is undertaking an exciting faculty-hiring effort to cement its trajectory as a leading public law school. As part of that effort, the Levin College of Law seeks to hire several distinguished, chair-level scholars who would further enhance the College’s scholarly profile. The Appointments Committee welcomes applications from candidates writing in all areas of law.
Successful candidates will have strong publication records, commitment to excellence in teaching, and enthusiasm for creating a welcoming environment for all students. Candidates must also have a JD or equivalent academic degree.
