About the role

The Operations Analyst supports the Worldwide Professional Services Resource Management and Operations team, analyzing and improving operational efficiency and scalability. This role involves delivering critical reports and analysis on the financial health and effectiveness of the Professional Services (PS) business, optimizing core processes, and working with the Senior Manager of PS Operations to establish policies and procedures. The Operations Analyst will also collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and Digital Solutions, and manage IT infrastructure supporting Professional Services.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate data and analytics for the Worldwide Professional Services team
  • Manage revenue recognition process, including forecast reporting, end-of-month fulfillment, and process improvements
  • Identify and suggest PSA tool improvements, such as additional features, automation, and accuracy enhancements
  • Assist with the design, management, and improvement of reporting and analytics around delivery pipeline, backlog, and revenue management
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and special projects to drive improvements and optimization of the PS business
  • Develop and maintain internal documentation, processes, and procedures
  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, and Business Platforms on managing and improving shared processes and best practices
  • Interact with systems vendors, consultants, and user communities to stay updated on systems issues, roadmaps, and best practices
  • Document solutions designs, architecture, and workflows
  • Plan, manage, and report revenue forecasts for the entire PS team to management
  • Identify areas for improvement and design and implement solutions
  • Participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings; occasionally present trainings
  • Infrequent travel may be required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5 years of related experience, with 2+ years in a services/consulting industry
  • Prior experience designing business processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage team members at all levels and varying technical abilities
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle a high volume of requests and daily operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft (or Google) Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Certinia, Tableau, and Salesforce
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods
  • Experience working with a globally distributed client organization, both in-office and remotely

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications related to Salesforce, SQL, or Tableau
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience in a Professional Services operations capacity

Pay

US Pay Range: $80,500—$107,166.67 USD. Compensation depends on qualifications, skills, location, and experience. Employees may also be eligible for variable compensation (commission for sales roles, bonus for non-sales roles) based on company and individual performance.
